Steria Consulting were appointed by the client to develop the structural design package for an extension to a Grade II listed dwelling, alongside the architectural and green oak frame detail provided. A reinforced concrete raft foundation was selected as the preferred option for support to minimise impact on the existing, shallow foundations of the Listed Building.
