Steria Consulting was appointed by Vernacular Homes as Structural Engineers to develop a scheme for conversion of a garage store on the farm to a habitable space.

Our input related to retaining the original structural roof trusses, assessing these for their suitability in the proposed design, alongside specification of further structural elements to enable the proposed openings. Assessment of the existing footings was undertaken to confirm their suitability to be retained and support the loadings proposed.
